Sorry to have to ask this again, but...

Dear Sis

There have been some unexpected changes in my situation. Being out of work, I informed my landlord of my situation awhile back and he pointed me in the direction of Veteran's Services to apply for a rental assistance program called Chapter 115, which pays for two thirds of your rent during difficult times. I've applied and been approved for the rental help and am nearly caught up with my rent, which is good, but in signing up for it, it was required that I sign up with Social Security and in doing so, to make a long story short, I was forced to retire.

My Social Security benefits are going to be $1,851 per month and my initial notification from them was that my first payment would be September 18th. I'm working on getting just a part time job to supplement those benefits. Meanwhile, When I sent Veteran's services a screenshot of my monthly benefits, something they needed to put my initial Chapter 115 check through, I discovered that the date of my first Social Security payment had apparently been changed to September 3rd. I was due to request my unemployment benefits for this current week on Sunday, the 1st.
Well, since My Social Security payment will be income, I declined my unemployment, putting the UI account in an inactive status. But when the 3rd came around, even though my page on the SSA website showed My first payment had been made, it wasn't showing up in my bank account, so I contacted Social Security to inquire about this. I don't even fully understand what happened with their system, but it turns out that as far as the Treasury Department is concerned, I'm not due to receive that payment until that original date, the 18th.

That's just two weeks away, but between now and then, I have a bill due to be paid out on the 7th and there's not enough in my account to cover it! It's my auto insurance. Once I get that initial payment on the 18th of this month, all subsequent payments will come to me on the 3rd of each month thereafter. My only snag between now and then, is that auto insurance payment on the 7th. Could you see your way clear to helping me out just once more with say, $300? If you can, do you think you could get assistance from someone again sending it through Venmo? The $500 check you sent earlier helped me out greatly, but being an out of state check, it took days after I deposited it for the funds to become available. That was okay then, but the due date for that auto insurance check is just three days away. A check wouldn't even arrive in the mail on time. All things considered, with my future Social Security, this should be the last time I'll ever have to ask for help like this. Give me a call to discuss this further. In keeping that Auto insurance payment from being declined, I'm at my wit's end.

Love, Bill
